Trevor Jones
Trevor Jones has represented Wales in both European and Commonwealth Fly-Fishing Internationals. He has also coached South African fly-fishing team in Commonwealth Games 2006 which were held in Wales. He was the official fly tyer for the welsh international team in 2002 and captained the welsh fly-fishing team in 2009. He was also Fly-Fishing & Fly-Tying magazine open fly tying league champion in 2006.
Many of Trevor’s fly patterns have successfully travelled as far as Canada and South Africa and of course these patterns are also used all over the UK and Ireland. Particular fly named Nebo Spider is considered as must have pattern for browns, seatrout and salmon in the river Slaney.
Trevor is current secretary of their local flydressers guild, Cambrian Branch.
